First off getting the automatic shifter **** out of the center console...you do this how? i can get the button off then there is a loaded spring got all that but how to you get the whole leather wrap part off...?

Second is i was going to put on my white overlays but taking the guage cluster out wasnt going as easy for me...seemed my problem was the headlight switch? couldnt figure out how to get it off or how to get behind it...?


Im sure with time and a GOOD repair manual i could do all this but i have the Haynes and it blows really...im guessing everyone uses chiltons?

I prolly could do all this without help but im not really trying to break anything figuring how i alrdy cracked the plastic on my dash right on the corner...and i was pissed as hell...

any help would be appreciated...thanks, Steve

 

Look at the front of the ****. there is a clip looks like a staple, you have to pry out with a flathead screwdriver or something. and the know will come right off.


edit: for the headlight ****, been a while since I last removed mine, but if I remember right, get access to the bottom of it and you have to stick something like a pick into a hole to press a release and the **** will pull right out.
