Different Seat Belts
Different Seat Belts
I hate the regular seat belts that I ahve in my car so I was curious if I could mount different belts.
If I use this as the roll bar and this harness will it work? I am just wondering what would be the safest becasue I don't want to install a full roll cage so I can use my rear seats, but I don't want to mount them on the floor because then it can compress your spine ina crash and hurt your back. Any opinions?

Arent those the seat belts that "fit in any year, make, or model" car? How do those bolt in? I don't think you need a roll bar for them, but just elaborate a little bit on how they go in your car normally, as i was looking into getting those same seat belts.

do some searching. someone brought up this topic before and they posted the specs so that it's legal. i believe that if you have a harness, you have to have a mounting point directly behind you and slightly below the seat cutouts, so that, like you said, it doesn't crush your spine.
