headliner experts

i removed the old fabric and foam from my board and there are a couple spots that are deeper then the rest of the surface on the fabric side, will the fabric cover this or do i have to fill it somehow, and if i fill it will the adhesive stick to that part?

the spots are not that deep, if i use tape how is the fabric supposed to adhere over that spot without adhesive?

You could always put some foam backing material in there to fill it. The way I do mine is to use 3/8 inch padding glued to the repaired headliner, and then stretch vinyl over it, tight, then staple into the fiberglass.
