group purchase on fiberglass formula hood?

does anyone want to get a group purchase going for a formula hood in fiberglass? right now they are 400.00 for the bolt on hood but, there is a 6 week wait.

If there is enough interest in the hood I would see what price break we could get. maybe even get them a little quicker since there would be a demand for them in stead of making just one.

VFN Fiberglass in Addison, IL makes those for $400 and $275 for the pin-on version. I'm considering buying one in the next few weeks. They have you pay 1/2 up front, and then the other 1/2 when finished approx. 5 weeks later.

Not a bad investment for a 12lb hood (18lbs for bolt-on). I'd be up for one if we could get a decent group buy discount. If I could get the pin-on one for $250, I think I'd be happy. Hard to say though because I think a full cowl would look better with the spoiler I want to use..

VFN makes good hoods. I got one of their 4" cowls for my bird. It looks mean on the car.
