how do i get ground effects off

i have all of my ground effects on my 86 iroc off except for the back in front of the rear tires. This is the side ground effects under the doors, but just in the back part in front of back tires.do i have to get to somekind of bolts throught taking out interior or is there clips or what? I cannot see any bolts or screws to get the rear part off and i need to take this off to finish sanding before my new paint job. if anyone has an idea please email me. thanks

I've not done it, but I've heard that you need to remove a bolt from inside the rear 1/4. I don't know if it's reachable thru the speaker opening or if the rear inside panel needs to be removed.

The rear ground effects behind the tires have a couple of studs that go through the 1/4 panel. You will need to remove the inner trim panels (one that covers the spare tire and one on opposite side) to get to the nuts that hold them on. There are also a couple of screws that bolt on from the bottom of the molding which are accessible from the outside.

As I recall, the nut can't be reached through the speaker opening; the interior trim piece needs to be removed. With that out of the way, there's a rubber 'patch' over the opening that allows access to the nut.

they right, you need to remove the lower side panel, which might rquire removing the bigger upper panel first.possibly the seat belt retractor also but im not sur eon that one even though i should know since i just took mine apart!!!!!!!!!!also remove the lower seat ,not sure if you need to but you get more room to work and wont screw up your seat.after you get all that off and see sheet metal, there will be a square piece of rubber stuck to the side of car near the floor, carefully peel that off and there will be your one nut/stub you need to remove, graB AN 11 MILLIMETER SOCKET AND SOME LONG EXTENSIONS AND SCREW AWAY,BTW IF YOU AINT GOT SMALL HANDS YOU AINT FITTING YOURS IN THERE.GET SOME LONG *** NEEDLE NOSE OR SOMETHING THEN.ALSO AS STAED BEFORE THERES A MES OF SCREWS UNDER NEATH AND IN THE DOOR JAMBS.ALSO YOUR Z28 EMBLEMS WILL NEED TO BE POPPED OFF CAUSE IF THEY WERE INSTALLED RIGHT THERE SOME SCREWS UNDER THE EMBLEM WHICH HOLD THE GROUND EFFECT TO THE FENDER
