4th Gen seat covers on 3rd Gen seats

Transmission: 5 speed Manual
4th Gen seat covers on 3rd Gen seats
This might be a dumb questions, but I'm a bit confused. I know 4th gen seats will fit nicely into a 3rd gen. But will 4th gen seat covers fit onto 3rd gen seats? Again, probably a stupid question, so I apologize for bugging you guys. Thank you in advance.

Transmission: 700r4 that is breaking down
don't think it will work man the seats are pretty different i would just go witha completet set of fourth gen seats
