Has anyone made a scan of 91-92 145mph gauges yet? :(

Im throwing in blue LED dash lights this weekend and want to change the colors of the numbers on my gauges to white and keep the black background (Don't like white gauges, look tacky during the day). Does anyone have the full size picture files for these gauges or am I gonna have to scan myself?

I don't know if my comment will help you, but when I got my 4th gen (95 Z) when it was new, I didn't like the blue color the dash gauges were at night. I did switch to white gauges, but for the climate control and headlight switch, I peeled off the 'sticker' on the front (just like how I changed to white face gauges) and discovered that the colorization is on the back of the stickers where the light shines thru. So I took a plain ol' pencil eraser and erased the color from the back of the stickers (you have to be careful not to erase the black parts and erase just where the light shines thru). Now the lights shine through white. The only thing is that we are talking about a 3rd gen, I have never had the dash apart in my 91 to tell you if the setup is the same (I hate the yellow too, just haven;t gotten around to it). Oh well, hope this helps you or some onlookers... --John

I thought about scanning them, not sure if that effect the light at night or not.

Been meaning to pic up a 145 mph gauge pod 91-92 and scan them and then start changing all the yellow to white.

I'm curious about this as well, as I'll be swapping for a 145mph speedo. I don't know how the gauges are lit though, so I have no idea how to approach it.
