So my car is in need of body work to pass inspection. I figure I might as well do it right and not just a patch job.
My car is flame red and has had previous paint work done all over the car, it's a mess.
I have a few ideas I'm playing with but need some advice. First off is the hood. It's a hardwood 3" (the smaller one) that's pin-on and right now it's black. For some odd reason I like the black hood. I didn't like it at first, neither did any of my friends but after a couple months it had grown on me AND about 50% of my buddies. So do I leave the hood black or paint it with the rest of the car? I'm leaning towards painting it red, what do think?
Next dilemma is the engine bay. I can't decide black or body color. I'm leaning 80% towards black because it hides wires better and I'm always going to be EFI. Not to mention it'll be POR15 to get rid of a few (very few) rust spots. Any thoughts?
