Fastening Headliner

The guy I bought my TA from had the headliner recovered and it isn't fastened to the roof. How are they attached? Thanks for any help.

By the other parts around it. Sun visors, pillars, plastic where the sail panels are, etc. No actual fasteners.

I have a hardtop and there were three plastic clips towards the front of the headliner (near the windshield). Unfortunately I ripped the metal staple out of my headliner which holds the plastic clips..... Now I'm playing with all sorts of fiberglass resins and what not to reattach the darn thing.

Well I'm glad i read this thread... I'm planning on taking my headliner down today. Any suggestions on how to remove it w/o braking the clips??

Yeah, there are not many people who can take out a headliner with out tearing them out of the headliner or or breaking them. Quick trip to Auto Zone solved it.

Mine is the t-top and the front is where it's hanging down a little. The guy didn't put the visors back in either. So there should be some clips at the windshield? Autozone carries them? Thanks fellas! I will check into it tomorrow.
