if I had 1000HP I would consider seem welding everything.

Not sure what engine/tranny you have (or most likely don't have) but with 1000HP I'd be looking at a scatter shield if it is a manual tranny... if auto I would fab a scatter shield or at the very least put a kevlar blanket on the floor....

Motor plate/mid plate...

run tubes from your cage into the frame rails in the engine bay

Driveshaft loop..

if you are racing it in the 1/4 I would be looking into a parachute and wheelie bars.

I'd probably think about back halfing the entire car and going to a 4-link and 9inch rear... or at least making one hell of a beefy torque arm.

Do you actually have 1000HP.... or just another dreamer?

Sounds cool.... I'm sure others will tell you that you can make as much or more power for much cheaper with a Gen I small block build..... but I'd still love to have the new z06 engine between my frame rails.

LS7? Damn I was thinking about the same thing. How cool to have a new 427 in a Thirdgen.

I'm only about 25 minutes away from you, so i'll be visiting if you drop an LS7/T56 combo in your thirdgen.

We have TRUE bolt-in kits to fit Viper, Corvette, Camaro, and Cobra applications along with custom installation kits that allow for an even wider range of installations. With the optional G-Force mainshafts, these kits have the ability to handle approximately 900* horsepower and 800 ft-lb. of torque depending on the application
