Hood mounting options

I have bought a raceweight fiberglass lift off hood and i was wondering about my pin options. I do not want to use quarter turn fasteners too many holes to drill. A while ago a saw some pins that have rubber on the plates to help keep from cracking, now I can't find those. Does any one know where to find these,
or does anyone know of something better than the plain ol pins?

There are a few options for nicer looking pins.

One, call Year One or somebody similar who does musclecar restoration stuff. They carry some with stainless steel scuff plates, aluminum rivets, and coated cables so there is virtually no chance of rust (the post is still chrome, but good quality), and had nice rubber pads to go under the scuff plates. I have bought them there before (when I used to work there). I used Mopar ones, since they looked a little nicer, and have several options (steel or glass hood, cable length, etc).

Two, call one of the Mustang suppliers like Dugan Racing. There are several more modern styles of hoodpins to choose from; some lock, some don't, some are bright, some anodized black or gold.
