Trans Am bumper
Trans Am bumper
Does anyone know if the Trans Am bumper will line up with the Camaro GFX? I like the molded in liscence plate mount, and I am going to do soemthing different with the tailight area of my car and I don't want the liscence plate there.

Firebird IS wider
Firebird is about 2" wider in the back. Like someone said above, anything is possible, it's just probably going to need a good deal of fabrication to pull it off.

If you're just trying to get the license plate mount onto a Camaro, carefully cut it out of a cacked Firebird bumper cover and bond it into the Camaro bumper cover. 3M, Fusor and others make adhesive for repairing bumper covers, or you could use one of the palstic welding kits (Eastwood has them; I picked up mine at a swap meet for about $30, its matco I believe). This won't be an easy project, but it should be far easier than making a bird bumper cover fit a Camaro. I haven't tried to modify a bumper cover like this (yet), but probably will soon when my time frees up a little more.
