4th gen doors (reassembly)

I've taken my door panels from a 95 Camaro apart. I needed to remove the upper piece that's covered in carpet for trimming, so as the door will shut properly.

Problem is, I had to break the plastic "rivets" that hold the door panel together. What would be a suitable way to put it back together? I was thinking some simple JB weld would do the trick.

I tried asking on camaroz28, but didn't get any responses.
