4th Gen Power Seat

Id like to put 4th Gen black leather seats in my 88. That would have a power drivers seat, but my Camaro does not have a power drivers seat. Can I make it work?

is the drivers seat power? If not, then you'll have to get the power seat tracks and install it on the seat. Then, use the ground wire to ground it then run the power wire to a power source (fues box) and it will work fine.

Yes you can. All I did in mine was splice into the power wire for the power windows. Works fine for me

If you just want to put the seat in a good position for you and leave it you can ground the black wire (I just used one of the bolts on the bottom of the seat) and then ran the other wire, I think orange or red to the 12 volt accessory fuse. It gave me the power to move the seat to where I wanted it and then I unplugged it.

I ran my power wire from the seat to the cigarette lighter wire.
