you used different fonts? On the oil and water guages it looks like a different font from the rest of it.

H. C. - Free Gauges

When my old dual needle Speedo broke off the KPH side needle, it was not accurate (Yellow side needle). It seemed to need the balance of both sides to swing and be accurate - but maybe yours is different.

What about laminating the paper with plastic to weatherproof them. My local Copy Business will laminate any thing, and it is a pro job.

Can they be made in Black Background? I would love to be able move my Redline over to 6K or so.

Can you apply these without taking off the needles? I would not want to take off the needles, and risk messing up a accurate gauge.

All in all a very nice job...Cocacolakidd

The trip meter is not covered, it's the mileage odometer, above the center needle - Was this mentioned?

Your just full of questions

Im not gonna laminate, when I reprint im gonna do them on photo paper

Yes they can be made in black

You can apply them with out taking the needle off IF you make a little slit so they can slide over. I took mine off.....BUT BE VERY CAREFULE IF YOU DO.....I would not reccomend taking them off. Like you said, a risk....yes.....i should know

Heres my attempt at a black one

That black one is real nice. Would you do those for others? I would attempt it, but I'm a clutz when it comes to getting things straight . A yellow 6K, and red 6.5K tach would be outa sight.

Photo Paper sounds like the way to go with them.

Very nice job...cocacolakidd.

If you want I can send you the scans of th ones I have, and you can just mess around in Paint to get them how you like.

Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send them to you if you want.

Also, If you ware gonna take the needles off do this

Fill your gas tank

Know how long it takes your engine to get to a certain temp

Know your idle

Know your oil pressure

Then you can take the needles off, and put them back on with the car running.....

I just spent $130.00 to have my 145mph speedo, and other guages gone through; cleaned, adjusted, lubricated, and a couple of gears in the speedo replaced....I think I would rather put a small slit in the paper rather than to get my fat fingers on the needles to get them off. I have a couple of extra gauge clusters here, and awhile back I tried to remove the needles to do this and that - Ha, they were never the same. I think for me a straight edge and an exacto blade will work better.

Keep up the great work, and thanks, Ed.

actually how hard was it to change your gauges..since your car is the base model to you know what gauges i got then...is it hard put in those sensors and stuff..for my 3 lil gauges i got those idiot red lights

did you scan them to get the actual size and distance between every line..or is it all guessing?

sensors and stuff????!!!! Dude Im lost, I didnt put any sensors in....

Im thinkig you mean I did a gauge swap kinda thing? nah man, all that is factory, only aftermarket is my gauge overlays.

I lucked out, did a few searches on here and found outlines of my gauges. So i just took those, edited them to hell, and how I wanted. But I didnt find a speedo, so I kinda had to wing it. (hence all the problems with it)

But seriously, i believe that all you need are the gauge cluster and the analog senders for oil pressure and temp.
