Are 91/92 Firebird fenders different from 87-90 GTA(firebird) fenders?

I know that the GTA used regular old firebird fenders up till 90, but are the 91-92 Firebird fenders any different from those found on my 89 GTA?

Fenders from '82-'92 are all the same. Only difference being T/A fenders and the gfx mounting holes.

Well, All GTA's from 87 to 90 used the base firebird fenders with badges.

I just wasn't sure if GM changed the fenders at all when they went to the 91/92 style bumper and ground effects.

91 or 92 fender will work fine with your GTA. They didn't change anything structurally when they went to the new GFX.

And for those looking for T/A fenders, the 82-84 fenders are no different from the 85-92 fenders. The holes for the air extractor are the same, just different shaped extractors. And the GFX mount points are obviously different.

My driver's side fender is the original '83, my pass side is off an '89 and the front bumper is 91-92. I'd say you'll be o.k. with whatever year you choose.

Also, the GTA fenders differed from the base model Firebird fenders in that they had holes for ground effects.
