Hey I was just wondering if an 89 trans am front bumper would fit on a 91 firebird. I need a new bumper for my 91 an theres an 89 t/a bumper around here for cheap that I might get since the 91-92 bumpers are so expensive. Thanks.

 

It will fit, but it will look like crap since it won't match the lines for the GTF at all.

 

Is it possible to just drill new holes for the ground effects?

 

Nope, the bumper GFX are part of the bumper. The plastic is shaped diffrently between the years.

 

If you're mounting the whole bumper it'll bolt right up, just have to drill new holes for the front fender gfx. However, the bumper cover up you turn signals/foglights as well as leave open that slit below the headlights.
