help needed fast! Metallic and clear

Hey guys I am shooting the paint and clear tomorrow and I need some advise. I am using Nason b/c metallic orange affect and Dupont Chroma Clear. Duponts spec sheets dont have a recomended tip size for the metalic and I have heard it should be a larger size. I have 1.3, 1.5, 1.8, 2.2 available I am guessing 1.5. As for the clear, I have heard some people say to not mix it as thin as it recomends because of runs, is there any problems that could arise if I take that advise? The tech sheet for the clear also recommends two coats of clear and I was planning on three. I want to acheave the mirror shine. I was planning on using 1.3 tip to shoot the clear. When I primed it Dupont p sheat said to use a 1.8 tip but it sprayed too heavy so I am a bit leary of their advise.
Thanks in advance for the help...

First off...your primer needs to be heavy, to get the build you need to block. 1.8 is perfect for this.
Basecoat SHOULD be sprayed with as fine of a tip as you can get away with to optimize atomization. 1.3 should be fine unless you are spraying a gigundobigass boat metallic flake from the seventies.
Clear, use a 1.3- 1.4, again for atomization. You want as small of droplets as possible hitting the car, otherwise you get that heavy puddly look.
ALL PAINT SHOULD BE MIXED ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECS!!!!
Runs are a result of either a poor choice of reducer, too slow for the conditions, or an inexperienced painter. (OR SIMPLY too cold to spray.)
2 coats are fine, still have the ability to wetsand and wheel, but not too aggressive with the wetsanding. 3 coats if your giong to wetsand your **** off and get it ultra flat/glossy.
