after many post, i have found that barelly nobody replies with answers, but more people with questions. i desperatly need help with my pistol grip shifter install on my 88 t/a 700R4. my kit did not come with the correct linkage and the hurst techs have been useless. my car has been on jack stands for over a month now, please respond my fellow mechanics.
anyone who has installed this, or can just get a pic of a pistol grip installed, the bare linkage. there is a threaded rod at the end of the shifter cable, and no fitting what so ever for this rod to screw into or connect, i cant even think of anything to fabricate this to work.
as well, when putting on aftermarket temp gauges, where do u put the new senders in the block, for oil and water. there are already 2 senders on each side of the block for water, and the factory oil pressure sender is right behind the distributor. do u tap into these, or what?

You can put a T in the rear of the block to accomodate your oil pressure gauge, I believe it's 1/8 NPT. You'll have to find somewhere else to put the water temp sender, like maybe into the intake manifold.
