whats under leather steering wheel cover
my leather on my 84 wheel is getting pretty loose so whats under it just regular vinyl covering or something

I know that the '90-'92's are just the regular vinyl wheel covered in leather....don't know about the '84 tho....prolly the same

It's like a hard dense rubber. If your covering looks bad, just peel it off, what's underneath looks far better

My original had some type of gelatinous substance that started to shift over time. It was like It was being held on with jimmy jam.. was pretty nasty. Got a GT wheel now.
