Macthing Carpet color for Beechwood interior?
I'm looking to replace my carpet to match the rest of my Beechwood interior. To all of you that might be able to answer my question, you already know what a tough time I'm having trying to find something that matches. I'm looking for someone who can say "Hey, such and such color is a perfect match", or "Hey, such and such color is a really really close match". And if you can answer that, could you please tell me where ya got it and post any pics if you have any.
Thanks again,
Tom

They have realy good cuality stuff. You can call them & ask if they could send you a sample of the color for your car, so that you can compare.
& look around theyr website, they have some other cool stuff for your firebird interior.

Here's what I did. Instead of matching the Beechwood carpet, i went with Doeskin, which was for the earlier year cars. It's a little lighter, but I bought beechwood color floor mats and it's really a nice contrast. Very similar to how the 2 colors contrast on the seats and doorpanels.

Not a great pic, but it shows why I chose to NOT use the original beechwood color carpet. The carpet matches the light parts ofthe beechwood seats and the mats match the dark parts. My doorpanels match the seats EXACTLY and the armrest do too.
You can see the contrast of the mats against the carpet. OE beechwood mats and carpet are the same, no contrast.

FWIW, I used to have all the samples that ACC sent. Sorry I didn't mention this earlier, but I kinda forgot about this thread!
Now my carpet was about 12 years old at the time, but the closest I found was the ACC 850 Chamois. The pictures are of the ACC Doeskin, but Ithink the Chaomois matched the OE Beechwood.
Like I said, it was old, but I tried to match the unfaded parts.

Thanks for the info, according to ACC, my carpet color for my 1988 is Cognac. I'm trying to do an exact match so I'm requesting samples sent to me. Looks really nice the way you did it.

My GTA interior is beechwood. I used ACC carpet. I forget the color I chose, but it was one of the main choices listed at most of the places that break up color selection by year.
Anyway, ignore the mismatch to the seats, they aren't stock:

The seatback is the original seat & carpet, so you can see that it's a very good match:

I think the best way to go is to get samples. They may try to avoid sending them, but let 'em know you're not gonna guess. I got my carpet from YearOne, but a local guy actually had ACC samples.
Here's another pic of a VERY low mileage Beechwood car. Look how dark the carpet is. Again, this is why actually having samples is the best way to go.

I also want to mention that in my car, I have Doeskin plastics with the deluxe/carpeted rear hatch pieces. They would not have looked good mismatched against the OE beechwood carpet.
