Axle/Gears: Whatever came stock!
1. Exhaust....rotted out and I think the words "excuse me sir, but your muffler is dragging" are good enough reason to fix it eh?...and no...stock exhaust is not in my vocab lol
2. Steering - something was loose but my mechanic took care of that
3. Tune up - EVERYTHING was all original and the car ran a bit rough
4. Alternator
That's basically it.....the rest is what i want/need to do
5. Seats - seats suck.....majorly....looking for some PMDs no matter what condition, hopefully...anyone can help me out here?
6. Carpet - There is some stuff that is hard to get off my skin left by the former owners
7. Oil leaks.......lot's of 'em
8. Paint - the previous owner had Maaco do a paint job...nough said
9. Body kit nice one
10. New windshield at same time as 8. 9. 10. Apaprently the former owner scratched up the windshield while putting the mirror back on, and the tint is faded, lots of water spots, and it's just kinda nasty.

(in no particular order)...
1. Center console lid (in the mail as we speak)
2. new floor mats (any suggestions besides lloyds???)
3. Dynomax Ultra Flo or Super Turbo or Edelbrock RPM series exhaust
4.Open Element Air cleaner (have it, just waiting to install)
5.Either new speakers or a new 'stock looking' head unit or something that will ATLEAST get me better radio reception.
Thats all i can think of right now... Id also like to pick up a OEM front ground effect and another set of heritage stripes for down the road if those items become hard to get....

the new RS:
- rip out all old gray interior (check)
- get new steering wheel
- build new gauge cluster with all autometer sport-comp gauges
- fix rather large dent behind pass rear wheel
- fix small dent in front of pass rear wheel
- pull blown v6/tranny
- pressure wash entire car
- pressure wash entire car again (it's kinda dirty...)
- re-wire for non-cc carbed sbc
- re do fuel system for non-cc carbed sbc
- rid of stupid vats
- rip out ac
- repaint engine bay and install moroso solid motor mounts for v8
- transfer 4.10/posi rear from SportCoupe
- transfer 310ci sbc from SportCoupe
- transfer built 700r4/2400stall 10" ATI converter from SportCoupe
- transfer entire new interior from SportCoupe
- buy iroc wheels from my buddy and have them fitted with 295/50/16's in the back and 245/50/16's up front
- transfer hatch from SportCoupe
- transfer cowl hood from SportCoupe
- tint windows to 15%ish
- paint car white
that's all i can think of right now, it's an exhaustive list that won't cost much money to do, but a lot of time... In short, the SportCoupe has too much rust for me to afford to deal with at this time. i may put a stock rebuild 3.1 or 305 or something of that nature in for a daily driver...haven't decided yet.

5. Need 17" wheels and tires
6. Underdrive pulley
7. Convert to rear discs
8. Fix rattling windows

Thought my car was a POS, but don't feel too bad now.
Need to do:
1. Service A/C for summer
2. Probably change oil
Want to do:
1. Go 13.50
2. Change to manual trans.
3. Big brakes
4. Re-paint
5. Get rid of some rattles
6. Get better cornering
7. Get nicer wheels
8. Listen to wife nagging me to buy a better car.
9. Listen to daughter nagging me to fix her Honda.
10. Avoid local law enforcement. (this should actually be #1 )

Lets see, to start out, let me just say that I paid 4k for a 2k car because I trusted my brothers judgment..........
1. News shift plate console thing
2. New Tires.
3. CD-Player, original did not work at all
4. Rebuilt motor to stock....
5. New Exhaust
6. rear hatch struts...
7. See #2 below
8..
9..
10..
1.. Had CD Player Stolen
- Had door locks either ruined or completely removed
- new shiftplate broken
- radio/heater control trim piece broken
- learned that if you pull hard enough on the shifter that you can pull it out of park into a neutral positon between park and reverse and can roll the car forward or backward. Hence why my car was in the middle of a parking lot (rolled out of the parking spot) after it had been broken in to.
2. Steering column broke, I could turn the ignition on by moving the steering wheel from left to right without the key... ended up removing the entire steering column on my brothers advice, last time I EVER use my brothers advice, but look on the brightside, I know how the steering column is pieced together.
3. Lets see, I now know how to properly change a fuel pump... never again.
4. Oh, there is plenty more, I am just too exhausted to remember....

Car: '86 Berlinetta
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700R4
1986 Berlinetta....
These are the things that I did as soon as I got the car up to now.
1) New Catalytic Converter... stock was dead and killing HP
2) Headliner Repair
3) New Starter ... crapped out on me in a parking lot... just what I needed lol.
4) Extensive Tune-up
5) Take old engine out after it spun bearings
6) Begin installing 4th gen Firebird Dash and Center Console
7) Install Corvette Servo
8) Put new (to me) 350 in
9) Install SLP 1 5/8 Headers, Catco 3" High Flow cat, and Hooker cat-back
10) Put in new front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, and rest of ground effects from 91-92 (Berlinettas dont come w/ ground effects and I hate the look of it)
next step: get all the finer things hooked up, and drive it after not having driven it for the past 10 months and only driving it for 3 months before the engine blew!
Steps I would have taken if my motor had not blown.
1) New Cat
2) Headliner
3) Starter
4) Extensive Tune-up
5) New springs/shocks (Pro-Kit and Bilstien HD's)
6) SFC's
7) New rims
8) New GFX
9) Save up for a 350
10) Save up for a 6 Speed
11) Paint it

Transmission: T-5, until it dies
Found a cream puff at a very good price, and it got me back in the
game, but it has a few old age issues:
1. Get my Spal fans in and running(in process)
2. New a/c compressor and accumulator.
3. Wheels. Either Budnik's 17x8's or O.E. Wheels 652 Iroc's.
4. Momo Millenium steering wheel.
5. Front struts.
6. Jet prom.
7. Pulley set.
8. Cat back system.
9. Spohn rear suspension goodies w/SF connectors.
10. New 3rd member with disc brakes and posi.
Only the first two are musts, everything else are wants

Car: 25th Anniversary RS
Engine: 305 TBI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: Stock 2.73s for now..
I am a perfectionist... so I could probably list the top 30 things if I were more ambitious.
1) Replace passenger side ball joint
2) Replace drum brakes with discs.
3) Install my probuilt 700R4, torque converter and transmission cooler.
4) Install an aftermarket shifter
5) Install my spohn SFC's
6) Install my replacement door panels (Thanks Kandied!)
7) Fix the clips on my GFX
8) Install new hatch shocks
9) Roll fender lips, massage inner well, buy spacers and install 17x11 ZR1 Wheels
10) Rewire fog lights and replace remote control with a real switch
...
11) Fix the short in my cigarette lighter
12) Fix my weak power locks
13) Fix my weak passenger side window motor
14) Buy correct replacement floor mats from Lloyds
15) Restore and paint front clip
16) Replace glass t-top(s)
17) New weather-stripping
...
and the list goes on. I'm beginning to think that I will never get done.
This list doesn't even include building and installing the 383.
