ABS headliner attachment

I have been looking at the headliners on ebay and they run about $175 shipped. They are made of ABS plastic and covered like factory. I have inquired and they have been telling me to install with just the visors, dome lamp, and the plastic bar in the back without those clips in the front.

Will that be enough or will it flex and look terrible in the middle like my factory one?

I just put one in on my 87 GTA Hardtop and the plastic is very sturdy and in my case I have the overhead console, visors, and the plastic trim on the back holding mine up and it is very solid.
