remove paint from weather stripin?
if u got some paint on your weather stripping is there anyway to get the paint off? or do u have to replace it?
also if u got some scratchs on the outer door weather stripping from sanding is there anyway to get them out?
how do u clean weather stripping and get it looking new?

Very, very careful with laquer thinner if the paint is fairly new. Might be better to spray with flat black and use some of the restore compounds on all of it later to give it a nice new look. This stuff is pretty good, Mothers "Back to Black" or something close to that.

Laquer thinner wont doing anyway to the best of my knowledge to weatherstripping unless you pour it on and leave it. I have been using paint remover in a can and havent had a single problem as long as you dont leave it on and maybe neutralized it with water. Spray it and after 5 seconds and a single stroke of the hand will take the paint off, just be very quick about it because the stuff is strong, acid based because it burns my skin horribly when I touch it.
