91 hood inserts removal

need info on how to remove the plastic fake cowl ducts in my stock hood,i thought i could remove the two fasteners and on they would be loosened but that didnt work, something else is holding them on still, were they glued at factory?i guess i need to take off my insulation and really look at what is under there, but i was hoping to avoid that removal, any one ever had there inserts out? 1991 z28 vert 305 tpi,5spd

I am pretty sure there are around 6 to 8 bolts on the underside of the hood for each blister. You will probably need to take off the cover to get em out.

There are 8 nuts holding each blister on. You will have to remove your hood insulation to remove them. Same goes for factory hood louvers....
