Trans am nose piece issues

Starting to see some cracks in the paint on the nose of my '89. Just wondering if this is normal for third gen T/A's and if it is just the paint or is it the nose as well that may be cracking (I am assuming that the nose is made of the same "Endura" stuff that they have used for ages.) Given the material of the nose, is there any special treatment to give it to protect it in the future.

There's nothing that will protect it once the cracks are there. About your only option would be to get a bra to cover it up...

The only way to prevent the cracks is to prep the nose with a flex agent in the primer and the paint coats, and then keep people from sitting on it and to avoid hitting things with your car. Minimal flexing hapens when you drive, but nothing that should cause any problems...
