GFX Nuts

Hey houseofcamaro sent me some weird looking nuts with my 91-92 GFX. Anyone know what im talking about? There the original nuts or caps that came with the gfx. How do i install theyse?

just get a 10 or 13mm socket and screw them on. they dont have any threads, but will grab onto the plastic studs just fine.
dont overtighten, it WILL break the studs off.

Don't know for sure, but it sounds like you got some speed nuts. That's what we used when we put ground effects on my 86. Sounds like you had good business with Tom. Gotten a couple of parts from him as well and have been extremely pleased and satisfied with them.

If they are speed nuts, how do you put them on?

If they're speed nuts you should just be able to use a socket, 10 mm I think, and tighten them onto the studs. Be carefull tho like stage20 said, or else you could bust off the studs. I would snay tighten them until they are just snug but don't torque them down too much.
