Just got a paint quote
I finally got out to a good body shop over here. For the same color(that polo green flake) and a ton of bodywork, I was quoted 3500-4000 dollars. The guy is edging my BB hood, installing a highrise, fixing a bunch of dings and dents, welding in a new lip on my 1/4 panel, and more. I thought it sounded reasonable since the other two body shops around here said 7-8k, the other was 5k. Crazy eh? Well, the body shop I'm going with is fairly new and has a good repetation so far. The camaro goes in monday and should be done(so the bodyman says) in 2 weeks maximum. Can't wait to post up the new pics in 2 weeks! Any input on the price?

I was quoted 7-8 grand as well. My body is basically perfect, but the whole car would have to be stripped because the previous owner did a maco job over the factory paint (paint layers are as folows: factory primer, factory paint, aftermarket priner, aftermarket paint). They also forgot the flex agent. Spiders galor in the bumpers and the wing is cracked to hell.
I would call it a good price.
