Aero Wing Help

Just picked up a fiberglass aero wing for my car from a private party. From some of the searches I've done, the wing came with some mounting hardware that I didn't get.

? is can I use the original mounting hardware from the ****ty
rubber aero wing or is there special hardware needed to mount the fiberglass one.

Also, the wing doesn't sit flat. The driver side tip sits up around
1-1.5", prolly because it was never put on a car and how it was stored. I imagine once its mounted it will pull down without any issues. Was anyone elses this way ? TIA

Frank

Its supposed to be a direct fit so all u need is the clips down the sides and the 2 bolts at the back. As for it sitting up once u slide it in the clips it shoud be fine.

Mine came with two clips that went around the hatch metal frame that attached to the front of the arms, and then the bolts in back. And mine was a lttle distorted too, but it'll bend a little bit when you start tightening it down.

Same problem with mine, sat real high in the center but when it was bolted down it was fine. However the cheap aftermarket spoiler is wavy as hell which kinda pissed me off but it still looks good.

Are these the only clips that are used ?

Appears that the factory wing ( I haven't pulled it off yet ) clips to the metal strip on the rear glass in three locations on each side. The fiberglass wing has landings for the clips as well. So is it that only the front ones get used ?

Maybe what I should be asking is, does the fiberglass wing mount at the same places as the factory unit and if so is the hardware the same? Can the factory clips be used to mount the
fiberglass unit ?

Thanks again

Frank
