multi adjustable mechanical seats...hard to find???

Saw a set of nice seats at an automotive flea-market yesterday from an 87 or 88 camaro. They were were mechanical but had 3 adjustment bars....forward/back, up down (for the base of the seat), and adjustable centre section to come up under your knees. There was also a ribbed section on the side of the seats...does this mean it has adjustable lumber (couldn't see a **** anywhere).

Just wondering how rare these are? Are they hard to find?? What would the going price be?

Sounds like you are describing the Lear Siegler seats. I believe they were available from '83-86 in Camaros and Firebirds. They seem to be more common in Firebirds.

They are somewhat rare but that doesn't necessarily mean they are worth more than normal 3rd-gen seats.

I was doing a bit more research today and I was starting to think that they are the 87-92 GTA seats. I have never heard of an LS seat before. How would a Lear Siegler seat compare to a GTA seat?????
