ws 6 style ram air hood
i have 2 questions, i want to install a ws 6 style ram air hood on my 91 bird, i allready have ram air hoses , i want the scoops to just let in air to cool the motor, somone told me that it may create a vacuum under the hood and lift the car up at high speed............is this bs? also, whos got the best deal as far as price and craftsmanship go on the hood? tia

I had the ASCD Ram Air 2 hood for awhile and the car never felt light on the front at 140+mph.
I also had the Ram Air Hoods Ram Air 2 hood as well.
Both brands have very good craftsmanship.
I ended up with an ASCD Ram Air 1 hood since it fits the look of my Formula better.

I believe the one from Hawks is made by ASCD.

I have the RA2 hood on my bird and at about 70+ the hood will lift in the back by about 1"-2" It used to scare the bejesus out of me, but now I'm used to it and don't even notice it anymore.

The hinges are there, but I don't have any struts/lifts on it so it will move a little as the hood is very light.
