I have sent the guy an email about what price we can get as a group purchase, so I have to wait for a respond. Hopefully we can start getting a list together of people who has the money and WILL make the commitment to purchase.

I clearly understand where TPI is coming from as everyone say they are in on the group purchase, but when it comes to put the money up we have a lot of people backing out.

Now we just I have to wait and see how many and what price are required to get this rolling.

Will post his result....

Interested and money in hand is two different things. You're not concerned with how much at all?

Because you are an international customer payment can only be accepted one of two ways. You may either transfer the money via a Bank Transfer or mail a Certified Check to Tuner Racing.

If you mail in a money order, you might be subject to a 5-7 day confirmation waiting period for your payment to clear.

I'm interested & have the money just need a better than 999$

Here is the information that I got from Tuner Racing. It seem they have a nice saving for the group order.....

David,

Thank you for contacting Tuner Racing.
Once Tuner Racing receives the business lic. faxed in to us and state or federal tax information we can help you out. The price break depends on quantity per order, but we will always be able to save you something once we set up a dealer account with the business. If the business orders one GTF vertical door kit the cost will be 900.00. If he orders five kits it will be 800.00 each. The order of five will have to be all at the same time. The pricing structure on the vertical doors is based on quantity per order.

There is no deposit necessary. The customers will need to go through the business on the business license faxed over to us and it must be an industry related business.

Feel free to contact me at anytime if I can assist you further. I am here to help you with whatever questions you may have. I look forward to doing business with you.

Thank You,

Russ McCoy

I think the website and Tuner Racing offer the same type of kits, it just a matter of getting the better deal out of a group purchase. We can get the GT Factory which has two shocks over everyone else product with one shock. Our doors are heavy so the extra shock might be a good idea.

5 people and the kit is $800.00

how many people are really interested and will fork up the cash for this? I'm interested but i think it may take me a little while to get the cash. I guess it depends on how fast the GP matures. Either way I've always got a CC

Both kits have 2 shocks both kits go 90 degrees I'd much rather have a bolt in type kit, But for the price a weld in may have to do. I don't trust anyone with my car to do any kind of work. I've learned how to weld but something special like holding 150 lbs of door up I don't know if i trust my welding skills that much yet

EDIT: Wow just read the instructions for the kit I'm not totally sure how to make it work for our cars.... the instructions on the tuner one makes it look pretty difficult since our door hinges dont un bolt

The bolt on kit looks way to flimsy. The chromoly one for a grand seems far more worth it.

Oh and yes I am "money in hand" interested. 100%

So lets start the list again, this time of people that are 100%...

dennisbernal91z

hope you guys add your names

Only people who have the money and are committed a 100%?
If you want the other kits get them, but for 5 GP we can get the chromoly for $800.00.....

ok then here is the reply from aerokit, i have asked that each individual pay for his kit by itself directly to aerokit then he send the kit to each of the 5 guys from the group...

So if you are interested to get from aerokit i'm good for 1 kit... !!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Delivery time is 1-2 days anywhere on the east coast and 3-5 days anywhere in the mid west to west coast. We accept VISA/MC or AMEX. doors are not a problem

If you guys are worried about doors your problem can be easily fixed if your willing to pay $350 a piece for fiberglass doors. I was looking into to buying fiberglass doors and the compnay selling them has two types 18lbs-20lbs and 10lbs-12lbs doors. I had the phone# in my cell phone but it was recently broken. However I will try and find the website and phone number again if that helps you guys. Nevertheless the doors are crazy and I want some too.

i have read you can open it normaly to go out or lift it as you need to do some show or not

------------------------------------------------
The Diablo door conversion literally draws a crowd every time you enter or exit the vehicle. Just in case you are in a hurry or don’t feel like putting on a show at the gas station you can enter and exit the vehicle just by opening the door horizontally not vertically
whenever you see fit.

BUMP..

I was wondering if anybody got in on that GP or not. I cam across a local guy who owns a shop that does all kinds of things and one of em is These kits. I said I knew a few guys who wanted em and asked how much he can get em for.

$700/pair

yes its the Same DIABLO kit. weld on.

So if anyone else is interested I have a cheaper suplier then the last one you guys used.

How about some more pic's everyone.

I would love to jump on ship, but with the situation in New Orleans and my family stranded at the Superdome I have to put my car on the backburner and takle care of the family. Keeps up in your prayers. I'm still missing some of my family members.....

where is he out of? if you can get the kit for $700 i'll buy it and try it. $2,000+ like some of these doors is just to much to try it first.

yeah i don't really have the money but if he takes credit cards i'll jump in. does he have them in stock local to you or does he have to order them? i'd rather pick them up than pay $50 for shipping.
