T-top support bar (or whatever it is)

I just picked up a support bar (the black thing that screws into the roof) and was wondering if there is any wierd thing I should be aware of before I go rip the old rusty piece of junk and install the new one. I also got new weatherstripping for the t-top-specific areas, so I shouldn't have to worry about doing this again for a long while.

Thanks, CrazyHawaiian!

He said he has new weatherstripping. No need to worry about ripping the old stuff.

When you take off the old one, clean up all of the metal real good. Put weatherstrip adhesive on the bottom side of the t-bar and in the 10 screw holes.

Excellent. I'll still be careful with the old stuff, if only to see if I can do the job without breaking more stuff then I have to.
