Front end swap??

Transmission: TH-350 with 3000 converter
Front end swap??

Hey guys, I have this style of front end on my 89 firebird...

Is this possible? What all am I going to need to do this? Also, I do have ground effects and would like to keep them if possible. Any help would be great.

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt w/ 3.73
It's a pretty straightfoward swap, just unbolt the old nose and bummper support and bolt on the new. Deadbird's site has some info on it in the form of diagrams.

i may be partial owning the front end you are looking at converting to but i think its a great idea. my advice would be getting the "non-formula" front end. this bumper comes down lowerer and should line up with your current side ground effects and as an added bounus it also has room for fog lights. my only warning to you is price. these 91-92 front bumpers are pretty hard to come by used and new they carry a high price. my boss backed into my car and i think the cost for the new bumper cover was between $700 and $800

Axle/Gears: wimpy 10 bolts
im looking into doing the opposite, converting a 91 bird to a 87-90 TA/GTA... ive just been pricin right now, but i may swap you if you want??

You can get the 91/92 bumper brand new for around $600 at the dealer down here. I think Hawk's sells them for $350 used. It is an easy swap, just unbolt old, bolt on new.
