Good luck with that.

I think you'll have much more sucess finding a used one and reinforcing the backside of it to keep it where it belongs.

$230 for the Z28/Iroc style from: http://www.buy-oem-parts.com/storefront.htm they show a MSRP of $309...
This is just to give you an idea of the cost, since shipping will be high from them since it would be truck freight...Local dealer might match price, I've had good luck with that before...

Has anyone made their own new bumper out of fiberglass? I was thinking about that the other day and wondering if it is feasible and if anyone has ever done it. It'd probably be a pain in the butt, but might be interesting.

If you are just making one like the stock one its not hard at all. All you do is take a fiberglass mold and find a way reinforce parts of it for mounting.

If it was really that easy, a company would have done it by now.

Tell you what, as it is so easy for you go ahead and try it and let us know how it works out.

Fixed!

Well the thing is it is that easy, but I know I sure don't want a fiberglass front end. First time you even bump a parking block it might snap.

Waaah.

If you seriously needed a new front bumper, post it in the correct forum. This IS the correct forum for discussion of parts, NOT for parts wanted.
