Hood time...
Guys i am having trouble with my stock steel rs hood, the gap from the hood to the front bumper is big, and i know its not the front bumper sagging.I can look into the gap and see that the spring on the hood isnt resting in the little recessed circle its supposed to rest in, it is sitting on the upper "wall" of that little circle, causing the hood not to close all the way, what do i need to adjust to make the spring sit in the hole properly?Thanks a billion guys i just dont want to make it worse than it already is trying to mess with it.

Well i toyed around with the latch mechanism and was fortunate enough for the hood to close and the spring to hit the right spot.I did have to bend the spring several times to remove it from its crooked state though. Its a temporary fix i will probably be needing a new spring because with my luck the next time i open the hood the spring wont hit right again.

Most of the time it is the hood cable stretching.;
I went to the fishing dept. in the hardware store and bought crimp-on fishing line weights. I used one about 3/8" ,crimped it on between the end and the loop it goes through on the underhood mechanism. You could also get the spring from the junkyard off a big car ie Cadillac.
