Power window problems

Hey guys, we just picked up a 92 Aniversary Edition RS It was a pretty good deal. Paint is nice and interior is mint. The only thing wrong is the power windows dont work. They will go down maybe halfway and then stop and wont work again for like 10 minutes. Bought brand new switches but that didnt fix anything. So do you think the window motors will need to be replaced or can something else be wrong? I replaced the motors in my 83 so I know what to expect and its not fun

i dunno about the diffuctly of replacing Powerwindows on a 4th gen are but changing out powerwinds in my 83 sucked, i ended up saying screw it, and drilled some holes in the door so that i can get to the bolts, didnt even half to take out the regulator

Your motors are going out. Might as well change them now while it is summertime. I just did my drivers side and the passenger is being done next month. Changing the motors is harder than changing engines to be honest. the 4th gen switch is simuar to the 3rd gen switch I been told.

Have fun.
