paint questions
first question is can you lay clear over base/clear after its been dry for a couple months? if not, Why? if so, what do you need to do to prep the surface.
Second question, this was my first painting experience and I painted to car and GFX seperatly, the color matches fine it was just a bright white but since i painted the GFX first my skills sucked and i ended up with orange peal like crazy!! so i sanded and sanded and sanded and sanded and there is still spots that i cant get out and im afraid to go any deeper. in the right light it looks like little specks all over the place, ive tried buffing them out with the 3M finnesit compond and that helped but didnt take them out. has anyone had this happen to them before? if so, how did you fix it?
thanks for the help guys,

1. No...because you can't.
(seriously, there is a window, most are anywhere from 16-24 hours, after that the paint is cured too far an will eventually degrade and delaminate.) Prep is easy and all that needs to be done is to wetsand the surface completely with 1200g. or 1500 g
re-clear...wetsand and wheel.
2. Sounds like you have really dry sprayed the parts...same answer, wetsand it down, careful not to go through, re-clear.
Pay special attention to your clear, it will take a little extra effort to get it wet and flat.
