They make a special tool for removing them. There is a little c clip the holds them on.

if you use a spring hook and get it to latch onto the c clip. it'll work nicely then jsut slide it off.

yup....just get the tool and push up and it slides right off......I forget how much the tool costs, but it is definetley worth it....no problems or damage...just don't loose that little wire clamp!

Hi guys,

My car stock comes with power windows and locks. The passenger door was all banged up, and the replacement door I have is crank windows and probably non power locks. I dont care (or even know if the crank works because the handle's snapped off), but I just want to take off the motor from the original door and put it on the replacement. What's the easiest way to remove it if you don't care about it? Do you just drill out the rivets? And for installing the power window motor, is that much of a challenge?

Thank you
