my interior plastic was spary painted, arg!

my interior plastic was spary painted, arg!

what can i do to get it off? everything thats grey plastic is black. what can i do to get that paint off, paint thinner would hurt the plastic wouldnt it? lemme know if u guys have any pointers..

Seen the guy next door use Acetone to remove it. Far as I knew, Acetone ate plastic but maybe it is safe on ABS which is what most of the interior is made of. He was working quite hard to get it off.

Another problem you may encounter is the person who painted it may have sanded it first making it dull and not too nice looking. Clean a small area first and have a look. Might be easier to buy a whole new inerior. I can't see myself facing the nightmare of geting all that off.

he didnt sand anything. it looks like he just painted it....he didnt even take it out of the car theres alot of over spray...what is acetone and where can i get it

acetone is in nail polish remover. just make sure u dont get "acetone free" nail polish remover
