I just had some dip---- in a reg sized ford truck do that to me on our "expressway" exit 2 weekends ago.
I got lucky and he just rubbed my rear tire and fender lip (no dentage) . He got lucky I wasn't in the mood for killing anyone after I slammed my brakes in front of him and got out.

Just be glad they weren't something like Thornbird TSL tires

Sucks though.

Ouch!
WTF. Our cars aren't the smallest ones on the block. Maybe we should all drive around in 70's Eldorados, then the car may just get noticed by the off-roaders...

Hopefully get yours fixed via the guy's insurance - better check with the FAA for the validity of his pilot's licence! Was he wearing an oxygen mask?

Mark.

i'm getting so sick of seeing our cars getting F'd up by other people's carelessness. It's just sickening to see on these boards everyday.

You gotta forget that our cars are really low. I was next to a Scion xA the other day and it looked like it was a 4x4 lifted SUV, no joke.

Even my mom's 2005 Corolla looks like it could run my car over.

Another time I was driving my g/f's jeep home (33" tires, 3" lift) and she was driving my car, and I look in the mirror to see if I can see my car..... nope. In a blind spot where nobody in their right mind could see my car.

Be careful around people, they are dumb.

Man last time I was leaving red deer a dodge truck ran me into the ditch and almost wrecked my g/fs car.....

Go to his insurance, don't even screw around... everyone I know around here who has tried to be nice and not go through insurance, the other person tried to screw them over. Yes in alberta insurance sucks, but think about it, if you wrecked someones vehical would they go to insurance?

The reason I say this too is 1 guy I know just smashed into my buddys car and is trying to screw him over and give him 300 bucks for the whole car. Its a crappy 80s sunbird 2 door with a turbo, but the thing was in near perfect shape, and he was about to sell it for like 2500 bucks. Now its written off.

Thats just my 2 cents though

Sorry to hear about the smash up, just be glad my buddy in red deer isn't driving his blazer still, cuz he woulda drove right over you.

a couple of points-
first of all, im sad to hear that, i like your car a ton!
second... MikeDirntRulez your a lucky man.... a girl that drives a lifted jeep.... wow
third.. if it was truly an accident dont abuse the guy to get extra money out of him... fix it right and get it all done... but dont make him pay for more then that... he works just like the rest of us

again though.. i love your car... hope to see it fixed right! good luck
