TTop weatherstripping needs reshaping

Has anyone had any success in reshaping the ttop weatherstripping? My window was put up and the weatherstripping was curled in. It stayed like that too long and has taken on that shape. Is there any way to get it back? I tried a heat gun, but didn't want to melt it or damage any surrounding glue. TIA.

The pic below shows the area in question. It's kinda hard to see, but the area is curled under.

Take it off the car, and put it in the hot sun for a day, preferrably on the hood of a dark car, or some other similarly hot surface. Around mid/late afternoon (while the sun is still hot), reinstall it in it's proper position and leave it that way for a day or two. I'm not sure if this will completely eliminate it, but it should help. Over time, it's original shape should come back as long as you don't do it again.
