I'm in the process of an entire interior overhaul and I'm considering having custom leather seats made for the car if I can find a shop around here that will do it. Now I have two options. I can use my current 4th gen leather seats that are from a 94 TA, or the original leather seats that came with the car which include split-bench rears. Both sets are power. I would also have them custom embriodered. The color of the seats would be black and white of course. I personally find the Trans Am seats much more comfortable and accomodating. On the other hand, you don't see many nice looking sets of Camaro leather seats today, much less custom ones in non-original colors.... So which seats would you guys use the Z28 or the TA? Also, what would you have embroidered on the seats?

If anyone is already running custom leather seating please post pictures... Thanks

I would go with reupohlstering the seats the came in your car. The guy Paul at camarosource has blue and silver seats (sorry I don't have permission to use the pics) Also, here is some food for thought, to reupholster your seats will be about $450-$500 US A SEAT, and probably a little bit more for your rear seat. Or you can goto Hawks and buy reupohlstered seats for less then that ($800 a set). So consider all your options. Call hawks and they will tell you prices and stuff.
