bondo won't harden

So I have this can of short strand fiberglass reinforced filler (actually it is bondo brand...), that's in my garage. About 1 year old. I mixed some up last night to slop on my car, anyway, it's hard to knead the tube of *cream* hardener, since there's air in the tube, it just feels full... anyway, out of the tube of hardener came this watery red liquid... I'm guessing it wasn't mixed/kneaded enough...
I guessed at how much to mix in with the filler, and I suppose I didn't use enough, as tonight (24hrs later), it's still soft, and gooey.

What should I do? Try to remove it all, or can I try to use a heat lamp or something to force cure it...? more time? I'd prefer not to have to remove this incredibly gooey mess...

Thanks

The hardening agent shouldn't be watery, its a paste. Remove what you put on, then get some new stuff.

yea I know, last year when I first cracked into the can it was fine.. I guess the hardener just settled in the tube.... I scrubbed the junk off (boy what a hassle!), and retried it... I kneaded the crap outta that tube, sure enough it was a paste, again....
point of advice, knead that tube good!
we'll see if this sets up ok now...
