do I have some rare hatch motor or something(1991)
My hatch motor assembly in my 91z28 is busted so I bought a used on(from a 91) off ebay a while ago. Well I just now got around to replacing it and the new one I have is way bigger then the one in the car. Those 3 big bolt holes dont even line up with the holes on the metal bracket that is part of the back of the car. The one I have it the same as the ones pictured on ebay and at TDS for the 88-91 model years. I cannot find a pic of the one in my car. The top 2 mounting hols are only 6" apart while the replacement I have are 10" apart. I cant even find a place on the replement where the main power plug would go into to. I know there where 2 different designs in 91 for the motor but my entire assembly is different. The one in my car is all plastic except for the motor itself. the bracket is a yellowish plastic. What gives here

hey man i did the same thing except i have a 91 fbird that needed a new one so i bought one off ebay that was supposed to be for a 91 and found i had the older model and recieved the "newer" i believe harder to find design on accident
it has three bolt holes and a kinda brownish gold mounting plate right??...well i need the one you got wanna trade?? PM me
