Pics of my custom Roll Cage

Some of you guys might remeber me talking about building my roll cage. Well here is some pictures. Its not 100% done but most of the hard work is. Im still need to weld in the diagonal bars from the main hoop to the floor. I also need to x-brace the doors and extend the cage into the engine bay, but as you can see its comming along nicely. Its a custom 1 off piece i built. I dont have any interior, but im thinking i left enough clearence to install all the plastics and the headliner. All the points to the floor and the a-pillar to halo, and halo to main hoop are mig welded, all the others are tig. Anyway here are the pics

the welds from the main hoop to the halo, halo to the a-pillar bars, the a-pillar bars, main hoop bars the floor, x-brace and the hoop diagonal bars to the floor are all mig welded, all the rest are or will be tig. The reason they where mig weled id the gaps where more that a 1/8 inch in spots so Tiging it would be a bitch

Thats one clean car and cage install!

Maybe you can do the alum. dash, but mock the normal dash pad over the aluminum lol

It's hard to lay a good bead with an arc welder. It can be done with any welder, it's the amount of grinding you'll do after that will suck
