Well I took the plunge today. I started pulling out my a/c. I got everything only to realize I opened a big can of worms. Now I need to know how to cover up the firewall. Will a heater box out of an s10 work? Or do I need a specific heater delete box for a camaro?

 

just get the one that came standard on non A/C thirdgens. i found mine on ebay.

 

I went to the junkyard yesterday. Found a couple S10's with no a/c. Doesn't look like it'll fit. Too long. I see a couple on ebay but looks like they are fetching a pretty penny. Guess I'll keep looking.

 

Do you plan on using your fan? If so, then yes, you'll need the non ac box. If you're not gonna use the fan, you can just make a cover for the hole outta some aluminum.

 

Well I haven't decided yet. I've been looking at those heaters you plug into your cigarrette lighter. I'm thinking about going with one of them.
