Our sons headlight does not come up on the passenger side of his '89 GTA. The **** on the top of the motor spins but the headlight does not move. The drivers side does come up. Any temperary fixes until we fix it right? Also, he didn't get an owners manual. Any leads on obtaining one of those?

well - you can find a fairly permanant fix that won't cost an arm and a leg from one of our sponsors - TDS sells a bushing kit that will fix it right up. As far as an owner's manual - the best places I've found to pick those up are ebay and the junkyard.

I have to apologies. I'm fresh meat here and did know about the search area. I have found it and have found exactly what you talked about. But in the meant time, is there a way of getting the lights up and keep them up until our "fixit" kit arrives.

Yes, if you turn the **** that you see spinning, then it will raise the headlight. To prevent it from moving, simply unplug that motor.
