nobody that has ridden in my car has mentioned this to me,but there is absolutly no leg room on the passenger side.
i just sat over there for the first time[or at least the first time i noticed] .
what the hell is up with the wierd ''bump''on the pass side?
i guess the only person supposed to be comfortable in a fbody is the driver.

The wierd "bump" is there for the catalytic converter to tuck up into. I always think there is room lacking in my friends 96 Z for the same reason. So, there's your answer.

Fbodys were designed with one thing in mind: Go fast and look cool doing it.
That is your answer.
The best you can do for comfort is find a nice pair of fully adjustable 4th gen leather seats, they're really nice.

im considering removing the passenger side front seat and putting a new backseat on the pass side in and having only two seats in the car, driver and rear passenger.then i would have two very comfortable seats with plenty of legroom.
