T-top seals
Good morning all,
My son and I just purchased a '83 Trans Am. The seals where the T-tops
meet the side windows are shot. They look to be made up of two pieces -
one appears to be made of foam rubber and the other from black rubber.
What I need to know is if this is correct and also where I can find
replacements.
Finally, is there a trick to removing the latch handle. I tried loosening the screw but it doesn't come out.
Thanks for the help.

Im a little confused about the foam part on the t-tops. There should only be a rubber sealing strip and a plastic water run off piece.
You cant buy these seals separate as far as I know. Look to pay a couple hundred dollars for a new set. They have cheesy aftermarket ones and genuine gm replacements. Check with Classic Industries camaro/firebird or with Year One camaro/firebird.
The handle is rusted onto the shaft. Take the screw all the way out and pry that handle off. Or try using a slide hammer with some kinda claw to grap the handle. Hope this helps!
